Los Angeles: September 21, 2015
The Emmy Awards were presented last night in mostly boring televised presentation on Fox. Filled with in-jokes and close ups of flavor of the month TV performers the one good thing was that Modern Family didn’t win again this year as it does most years.
Ray Donovan, which does happen to be one of the best shows on TV was also sadly ignored.
Viola Davis became the first non-white actress to claim top drama series acting honors, Jon Hamm finally won for “Mad Men,” and “Game of Thrones” overcame voters’ anti-fantasy resistance to win the most trophies ever in a season.
