Roman Polanski Granted Bail

A Swiss court has granted film director Roman Polanski bail of 4.5 million Swiss francs ($4.49 million) on Wednesday, according to the Swiss SDA news agency.

MICHAEL JACKSON DEAD

Entertainer Michael Jackson has died after being taken to a hospital on Thursday after suffering cardiac arrest.  Jackson, 50, was taken from his Los Angeles home to UCLA Medical Center where doctors worked for more than an hour to try to resuscitate him, his brother Jermaine Jackson said.
